So..this summer has been super busy...buying a house, trip to LA, working full time, etc. I'm so behind on uploading/sorting/etc. photos. I think I still have the pics from our vacation on the camera. Yeah...that was a month ago. Things are starting to slow down a bit; summer is coming to an end, we're settling into our house, and life is getting back to normal. The school year will be starting soon and I should have a little more time on my hands. I'll still be working every day, but not quite full time. I'll have a healthy gap between working the before/after school program. (Hey, I'm going to be a Site Director!) Anyway, I'm hoping to use this little gap to catch up on life and spend more time with my amazing little girl. I've missed her this summer. M-F I've only been able to spend about 4 hours a day with her. This usually includes dinner, bath, bedtime routine...and occasionally the tail end of the nap. I'd like to have more time to just hang out and admire her. Hopefully the school year schedule will allow me to do this. I turned 28 the other day. It was a very low key birthday. Daniel got me a pretty sweet present though. It's a cute little Acer Aspire One (sapphire) netbook. It'll be my downstairs surfing/blogging/skyping/cooking/etc. machine. Hooray for tiny mobility! No..that's not my hand.

welcome to my life of not seeing my baby girl. It sucks, but I don't think I could stay home all day either...it's just not for me, but I admire those who do. Anyway, it sounds like you have an ideal job. The whole school day to yourself! LUCKY Dog!

I miss seeing Jezebel all day, but at the same time, I'm happy to get out and work and socialize. I'm quite torn. Though I think I have a nice schedule worked out for the school year. Not quite a stay at home mom, but not quite a full time working mom. Happy medium? I hope so.
I have a friend who has an acer and loves it. She was going to get a different brand but the salesman at check out told her to get acer b/c it has way more memory. Happy B.day WAY LATE.
